I intend to make a sun dress. That way I will have a shirt for day and a simple shift-dress for dinner.

Some folks are using it to make scrapbook/photo album covers. Some are planning on making shirts for children (or their Teddy Bears!).

Teddy bear shirts and either a skirt or dress for me.

I haven't seen Valbob post since i've been back from the TA. I HOPE all is well with them and they are still on this cruise.

I found a neat skirt pattern but I guess it might depend on when we get the material?

Note ..this will be my excuse if I do not follow through with the skirt. Not enough time!

Hope you are all doing well. We are still in Orlando after our WBTA cruise. Had a week in our nicest room yet at the BCV and had a great time. Now at a vacation home for 4+ weeks so really chilling. I won't want to go home I know. We aren't doing the parks much and only popped into 3 last week for short visits. Boy it was hot but it has cooled slightly this week so much more comfortable out and about.

We are going to be at WDW Boardwalk on Saturday and Sunday night this weekend! Hope to see you!

I am leaving from Long Beach airport at 1pm on Delta - if anyone is interested in ride sharing, please let me know. Super Shuttle is 27.00 per person for the first person, then the second would be is 9.00 - so maybe it could be split between two people - for 18.00 each....PM me!!

We will be at WDW Oct 26th to Nov 1st!.. There are 6 of us. Myself, DH,
DS (4), DS almost (22 mos), Niece (21) and a good friend!.. We are getting very excited.. This will be our first F&W so looking foward to that too!

I got a group rate at the Terranea Resort for the cruise. They can give us a room rate of $285/night with a daily resort fee of $20. They will also give us a 5% discount on golf and spa treatments. If anyone wants to stay at Terranea, please send me an email or DIS message and I will start a list for our group.

If I can help you, please let me know. So I want to share this story from today. So getting on the bus back to AKV a family decides that they are so special because of their oversize stroller, that they could cut off the person in the scooter and board the bus through the real entry. Oh boy was I livid. As I walked by here is the quote of what I said. "I guess having a oversize stroller makes you special" right as I passed them. What's worse is the bus driver never said anything to this family.

Still super busy here...but been lurking once or twice a week. Thanks fo the folks who have been sending me their changes for lanyards....and to the new folks who've signed up. We're a little 200 lanyards ordered so far....so we're well on our way!! Jason and I booked our airfare a while ago. We are flying in on the 27th, as are our table-mates for this cruise, and the 6 of us are all sharing a 2 bedroom villa at the Grand Californian (also booked and confirmed) for the two nights before the cruise so we'll get all day Saturday in the California parks....want to do The Little Mermaid and then whatever else we can fit into the day....and we'll do the World of Color dining package at Ariel's Grotto that night. (Love that!!)

I saw one of my dear DIS friends this weekend and her family is booked for the inaugural Fantasy sailing. We were talking about the dates... we leave one day after they get back.
It made me Wonder... is anyone doing a back to back?

There are some people, yes. Cayla (aka Padalyn) is sailing with a guy named Michael and one of his claim to fames (among some other DIS friends who are on this trip) is that he has been on every DCL inaugural sailing (for every ship and every itinerary) since the Magic got put in the water.....so I know he told us he is doing the Fantasy Maiden and then is also on Hawaii with us...so I imagine he's getting off the ship in Florida and hopping on a plane to get to the west coast in time for our trip....and there are probably at least a handful of others doing the same. Lucky ducks!!
