We are also on this cruise without kids. Michael and Shauna
My kiddies will be on another cruise with their dad and with the two storms coming up to my parts in the next few days, I just can't take it anymore. Got a great price and was already going to be in FLL visiting my mother, so GET ME OUT OF DODGE!
I've only been on a DIS cruise out of Port Canaveral, so it'll be interesting to go out of Miami.
We still need to find a way to get to the port on Wednesday morning...
We've been to all of the port before.
Castaway Cay, we're going to rent bikes, bike the island and then go chill out at Serenity Bay!
Nassau... part of me was going to be fine just staying on the ship but we've tentatively booked the Sea and See tour (or See and Sea lol) through the ship... I've never toured Nassau and figured it would be good to say I at least did it once, plus going on a little water excursion to check out the fishies sounded kind of fun (through submarine-type windows or something... not actual snorkeling).
Key West... eh, been there done that. I'm not really enamored with it. We'll probably just get off, walk around, get some key lime pie, and maybe a drink somewhere and then go back to the ship. Wish we were in port through sunset... but oh well.
Four nights is going to FLY by, but like I said... with 6-10" expected tomorrow and 1-2 FEET on Monday (with another potential storm after that)... I need to be:
knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze blowing wind through my hair
Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair
Sunrise there's a fire in the sky
Never been so happy
Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise
