Is there is a non-zero chance VDH could be discounted this summer? I was planning on poly originally but all the annoying arguing from Florida is ruining my vacation zen.

We're staying at the GCH in a couple months and I think if I make accidental eye contact with a DVC rep I'm done for.
Throw in a significant discount and there's no chance I'll escape.

Definitely a non-zero chance. Historically, summer is often a low period for pricing. November can be, too, though it was not last year.

Though I'm not sure it's safe to expect sub-pre-sales prices (for existing members) at any point:

• Riviera's drop below pre-sales pricing was only from June 25 - Sep 16, 2020...in response to peak "the world has shut down".
• VGF2 never did.
• VGC did drop below pre-sales June 16 - Sep 2, 2009....right at the end of/after the Great Recession. The heavy discounts were basically the exit through the gift shop of the recession.

If you're interested in new member pricing, the picture is basically the same but pricing does get closer to intro pricing more often. Riviera had near-introductory pricing in November 2019. And Grand Flo actually had better pricing for most of 2022 for new members after the introductory period, which was odd.
