I think we figured out what to do with his Aunt. Although I need to run it by his aunt and my hubby and MIL first! I think if we just have is aunt pay for the 4 nights that she will be there and then we can cover the rest....still not excatly sure what we will do with all those extra credits. But it is a simple sollution. Unless we can come up with a better plan. Hope everyone is having an awesome day!!

Pink Princess, I think you can book a room-only reservation now and then convert it to a package later. We are planning to be there at the same time as you (our 35th anniversary is that date, dh's birthday is a few days before, so we will probably arrive the Monday before that date and go home the Friday after, but I haven't really spent time looking at a calendar yet, so not sure where the dates fall. I'm holding off booking at this time. I booked our last trip just 2 1/2 months out and had no problem getting our room or dining reservations. We plan to stay at POFQ.

pwebbie, thanks for the info on making a room only ressie. They didn't tell me I could do that when I called. I think I'm going to hold off on booking as well. It's also awesome that you will be celebrating your anniversary at that time too. The trip will actually be a Disneymoon trip for me and my DF:love: We originally planned for an Oct2011 wedding but are changing to April 21, 2012. I'm soooo excited:banana: Hopefully all of us will have a magical time in April2012:goodvibes

LuvsTigger80, Hate we're going to miss each other. I think the tatoos are adorable, especially yours, the "hidden Mickey" is too cute. After looking at your dinning plans I think I'm going to start looking at where we'll be dining, it may make the time go by faster and keep me excited. When we went in 2009 we did the deluxe dinning plan as well and we both loved every tasty minute of it. My DF is a big guy so dinning is among his top priorities, that and seeing Mary Poppins, he seemed to have developed on crush on her during the 09 trip:rotfl:

April 21 is our dd's anniversary -- ten this year. They planned to take a nice vacation for their tenth however baby # 3 (totally unexpected) is due April 28, so plans are a bit different. :)

A Disneymoon....how fun! When the hubby and I got married oh so many moons ago...(hehehehe...it'll be 8 years in May) we didn't go on any type of honeymoon. Maybe we should make up for it for our 10 year anniversary. Leave my little rug rat at home and have an adult only trip. :) On our very first trip we had no idea what or how the dining plan worked...the 2nd trip I think we did basic dining and really enjoyed ourselves. Since we wanted to try signatures we did the deluxe on our last trip and loved every min of it. So we will be doing deluxe again. We are big foodies. :woohoo:

I'm excited to see Phinese and Ferb..oh yeah and agent P! :rotfl2: So I know how he feels about seeing Mary Poppins.....lol!

Hi all!! Just thought I would post alittle update....

we have already changed a few things around with our dining(again)!! We have decided to not duplicate any of the breakfast and try something different everyday....that will be fun....i believe we will add grand floridian cafe and Wolfgang puck express....

I also have been thinking about fireworks cruises....well we were already going to do the Pirates and Pals....but now we are leaning more towards the Illuminations cruise. It would actually cost us less per person to do the Illuminatios cruise. Plus we did get to meet Captain Hook,Smee and Peter Pan a couple of weeks ago at Disneyland! So which would you do??

Hope everyone os having a good day....:cool1:

WHOO HOO!!! We have less than 400 days till vacation!

But I do think this will be just a general update! =)

So the hubby and I joined D23. Went to our first event last week. Had fun...can't wait for more. Plus I got to see one of my favorite night shows of all...World of Color! Can't go wrong there. Super excited for the studios tour in April. It will be my first time going and the hubby's second. His mom took him last summer.

Starting to get my son ready to start kindergarten in Sept. That's exciting and scary all at the same time. It will be his first time in the school atmosphere. He has always been at home with me since we couldn't really afford preschool. We also joined the gym a couple of weeks ago. So far so good...i've lost 6 pounds...only 90 more to go...:rotfl: I'm bound and determined to get there. So we shall see.

Oh yeah and last night we got a new computer...it's an all in one. pretty weird not having a tower...but gives us soo much more space. Plus it is a touch screen. Still getting use to it...but I do enjoy it so far!

Anywho...I think that that is it for now... maybe i'll back with a vacation update. We pretty much are waiting for May 11th right now. That is when we can do our hotel ressies....

Hi everyone! Well here i am with a little update! We no longer will be taking my hubby's aunt...so we moved our dates. I was starting to get a bit worried about it being the week after easter and crowds..and that we wouldn't be able to get the room we wanted. Nevermind what trying to get adr's would be like.So we talked it over with his aunt and decided that it wasn't worth the hassel since she would only be with us for a few days.

So our new dates are April 25th thru May 5th. Which means I need to update my ticker! And we are still under the 400 day mark!!:banana:Also means I can move some of our planned dining and such since I don't have to fit certain resturants when his Aunt was going.

Has anyone been around this time? Our first trip was a week before our dates now. But easter than was at the end of March. How is the weather? We are so use to being in the cold and not being able to do water parks. I'm getting more excited.

On another note....... i've lost 7 pounds...whoo hoo!!:cool1::thumbsup2

We were there April 20-29, 2009. Easter was April 12 that year. Crowds were not bad at all. We hope to be there April 16-27, 2012 and Easter is April 8, so basically the same time period as before -- the week after the week after Easter. I don't expect crowds to be too bad.

So...some big changes have happened!! the first one is that we went from a party of 6 to a party of 4. My brother and sister in law can't afford to go! The second big change is our resort. Since we will be annual pass holders....i figure that we could use the discount and stay at Poly instead!! We are super thrilled with this. We always wanted to stay there and now would be the perfect time! :goodvibes so now I really can't wait for vacation. whoo hoo!!

So i'm jumping up and down for joy!!:dance3::yay:

One week from tomorrow....we will be

riding Star Tours in Disneyland! Super excited! It pays off to have an AP for Disneyland!! Can't wait to ride the ride! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Hi everyone and anyone that is reading this!! :goodvibes

I have some very exciting news! My mother in law was asking me about DVC on thursday...I told her we could go to Disneyland on Sunday to just check it out...that I didn't think any of us had good enough credit to even try to purchase DVC right now. We have been saving money in my savings for our trip in 2012. Well we get there and listen to everything that the DVC guy had to tell us. Most of it I already knew. After all was said and done we walked out of the building as proud new DVC owners. Super excited! We are gonna use some of our points for a staycation at the Disneyland Hotel when we go to Mickey's Halloween Party. I'm super excited. And to top it off we got to ride Star Tours on Friday! And we get to go again tomorrow with the AP preview.

So now we have to decided where we want to stay. We already know how long. I'm so excited....can't wait!!!:yay::yay:

well now that we offically have our hotel booked. 9 wonderful nights at the Treehouse villas!!:cool1: Super excited for that one. And the bonus...now that we have taken care of the hotel...my brother in law and sister in law can afford to join us.:banana::banana: I'm so happy that the whole family will be there.

And another bonus...since we had already bought our tickets to the first night of disneyland's Mickey's Halloween Party(which also happens to be my hubby's 30th birthday) we decided to do a staycation at the Disneyland Hotel! :cool1::banana::cool1: If I haven't said it before....i LOVE DVC!!! And added surprise for him..the napa rose on saturday night!

And I think that I have all of our dining ready to go for our disneyworld vacation! So all I will have to do is wake up crazy early and make the reservations...wanna know where we will be eating???? This list has change so much..but I think it will remain this way...except the first night.
