Okay, so I know that this is way early to actually be planning our vacation, but I am curious from all you experts about a particular week in April. Our kids spring break usually coincides with Easter and I refuse to go to Disney during this time, but next year their Spring Break is the week of April 4th and Easter is not until April 24th. What are your thoughts on this week??? We were really spoiled when we went last September with crowds, and I know crowds will probably be higher, but will they be crazy??? Thank you so much!!!

Funny you should ask this question, as I was getting to ask one similar. We have break the week before Easter...so now, what will the crowds be like that week.. That is our usual week off, so...I even checked with the school's district office to make sure I did the correct week....can you imagine....so, if anyone has experience with this, I am sure that hannahon and I will appreciate your advice:)

I can only speak of our experience going the week before Easter 2009. This was our first trip so don't have a comparison on crowds....but....I would say it was crowded!!

That being said the first of the week wasn't too bad by the end of the week crowds were big.

I had used Ridemax.com and touringplans so had a very laid out week. We stayed on site (POP), used EMH, had breaks, used diningplan. We did not wait more then 20 minutes for buses or rides. Made a point that when we saw characters we stopped if lines weren't too bad. Saw lots, many photos!!

The most crowded times were MK, 4 days before Easter weekend. The parades, and Wishes. We really enjoyed Wishes more from the beach at Poly as there wasn't crowds.

Good luck planning your trip. :)

I'm wondering about this too. We don't have to worry about school schedules and want to avoid super busy times. With Easter being so late, can anyone predict how the crowd levels might be? We want to work in a trip before our APs expire 5/5/11. Is last week of April going to be crowded because of Easter or will the other weeks be crowded because Spring Break will probably be before Easter for most schools?

I'm looking at those dates as well. The planning site that ranks the weeks says that should be a pretty good time to go.

Thanks for you replies everyone!!! I'm thinking we may just bite the bullet and plan for it, and hope it isn't crazy!!!! My children's school isn't too keen on missing school, you can get away with about 3-4 days, but anything over that and you get a nasty letter. So, if we incorporate our trip over Spring Break, we can do a 10 day trip with them only missing 2 days of school!!!:banana::banana:
