April 19th crowded park MK

We are at Disney World right now. Our family went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday. We tried to get there as early as we could. With our 5 children that was 10 a.m. It seemed like everyone else was coming in at this time too, as the parking lot was filling very quickly. I have read from the boards to get there at 8. 8-10 is a good time to arrive. At first, it wasn't that bad. 20 maybe 30 minute wait times. I never waited. Thanks for telling me about the fastpass system. We fastpassed as many rides as we could. One member of the group would go get all the tickets stamped. The parks got VERY CROWDED about midday. The sun was wicked and it got very hot about 1. If it wasn't for those fast passes, I would have left. I would not wait for 80, 90 minutes just to get on one ride. Thanks for all of your help in making my trip a success.

Glad things worked out for you. I too think I would be lost if it wasn't for all the good info I have found on the DIS. Have a magical vacation and a safe trip home
