Hello everyone!
We just got back last night from a strange and fun time at the World!
Okay...let's begin!
We flew from PIT to MCO Sunday night and walked the empty halls of the airport to the Magical Express gate. We were about the only ones there it seemed (got in at 9:45 so they took care of the luggage as it wasn't 10:00pm yet-cool, we thought!). We got on a bus with about 12 other people all going different resorts...oh, boy. Driver said it'd be 1/2 hour to the first and then 5 or so minutes to drop off/travel to the next and we had like 5 stops before us on his list (we were read off last).
1/2 hour later we see signs Pop Century Next Left...we got dropped off FIRST! First Disney Magic of the trip!!! Yes! Grumbles from the other tired guests...
We checked in and were in the 90's building (Room 8360 with the giant cell phones)...we went down got our mug/snack and enjoyed chatting before we went back around 11:30 or so. Our luggage hadn't come-the front desk said up to 3 hours but typically an hour is normal...10:30 check in...11:45 no luggage...I figured I'd go to the desk and ask.
The lady said to me 3 hours...then a guy next to her said "Uh, did you go to luggage assistance?" I said "Nope not yet."
I went over there and they stop delivering at midnight (in 10 mins!!!) No sign of our luggage and they said with our approval if it came in the middle of the night they could run it up...I said "Well 3 hours is 1:30am, Yeah bring it up since my wife wants her stuff." He took my room number and said okay we'll bring it up when it arrives.
Went to bed at 1:00am with that on our minds (and awake from slugging down Disney Coke late!) well around 2 we fell asleep...no luggage.

Day Two:

7:00am-Five hours sleep with no luggage or PJ's and the alarm went off...we got up and around to get breakfast and open Epcot (I normally like to do MK, but wife wanted to do Soarin', and we only had 3 day hoppers as we were leaving Thursday morning). 7:05am...KNOCK KNOCK...luggage!!!
We ate at food court and went to Epcot rope drop...fun!
Got on Soarin', grabbed a FP on our way out...hit Test Track (20 min wait which went faster than that) and then to Figment, Nemo, and back to Soarin'.
I did notice this trip wait times were saying longer than actual...a lot. More on that later.
Around 11:00ish we got on Monorail to MK! Ate at Peco's Bill...nummy!
Hit Pirates (10min) Splash Mountain FP, over to HM (10min) back to Splash and decided to head back for a rest...
We went back after our rest and more Coke and hit Philharmagic, Pooh (said 30 min but was only 10min), Snow White (10min), Small World (no wait) and Peter Pan had no FP and said 60 min...we skipped it for now and did HM again and BTMRR (said 30 min-was only about 10min) and walked onto Splash Mtn. (said 20 min-was a walk on...sending empty boats as it was 8:00pm and cool wind)...Then we watched Spectro at 9:00 and left the park to avoid crowds...back to resort to get a snack/Coke and bedtime around midnight...
Day Three coming later! :)

I'm excited about hearing the wait times. I'm leaving a week from today, so I hope our luck holds...

Thank you so much for sharing about the wait times. Seems like that is always a huge concern for those going.

Day Three (or "Hey, Disney has some neat bathrooms!):

Alarm was set for 7:30am (We needed an extra half hour...after being Orlando Commando's yesterday) but I awoke at 6:33am. Headed to bathroom and uh-oh...
Remember that 'bug' that is going around Disney on the boards here...yep...you guessed it...I got it...luckily it was only one way and no nausea/throwing up. Return to bed and 1/2 hour later...bathroom again.
Julie awoke and I told her and she was bummed as this was our 2nd of 3 days to hit the parks and the hoppers are so expensive for a 3 day compared to a 7 or 10 day pass...well...we got around slowly and went for breakfast...at this point I still wasn't sure what was up and ate light. We went back to room to drop off mug and grab fanny pack and I of course hit the bathroom again (even hitting the Pop Century lobby one during breakfast)...I know...this part of the report is gross...lol!
Well she decided to go down to the Everything Pop gift shop and look around and sit outside and read until I felt better. I took a rest and was irritated that I felt like this (can't help it though)...around 10:30am I got a shower and dressed after a few more rounds in the bathroom and took Pepto a few times too and met her in the lobby. We went to Animal Kingdom.
Got there and got a FP for Everest, then did Dinosaur (said 25 min wait but was only 10min) then we walked to Africa and go another FP for Kilimanjaro Safari and headed to Maharaja Jungle Trek then Everest. I must mention that I took a bunch of bathroom breaks plus rests on benches every so often as I was struggling to make it around and we bought Dasani and Coke often too. Everest was much fun! We did the other walking trail (Pangani Exploration) and the Safari and headed out hitting the bathroom again. Julie was disappointed as she wanted to spend more time there but she knew I was in bad shape trying to make it through. We left around 2:30 and it seemed forever until our bus got there. Got back and she headed down for a bite of lunch while I napped. I awoke and felt better after about 2 hours and we headed back to AK where we did the Safari again and took our time getting pictures and enjoying the place. She ate at Pizzafari (I only had some toast at the resort before we left-yes you can pity me as I love the food at WDW) and did Tough to be a Bug on our way out. Then we took the bus to Epcot for Illuminations. After that we went back for a snack/Coke and bed! I felt a lot better by this time. Stupid 12 hour bug!

Day four coming soon!

There's nothing worse than having a stomach bug while on vacation. My husband found out he had kidney stones while at WDW! Thank God the throwing up didn't start until after we had made the 15 hour drive. Yuck!

I hope that you'll write more and post some pictures for us!
