That's great I have purchased stuff along the way as well I am an orlando native so there is no shortage of Disney stuff! We are two moms bringing our kids. Me, BFF, DS 8 (also birthday boy!), DS 7, DD 12. Room number 6642! We are so excited for our cruise!

I'm taking two suit cases with me... my husband thinks I'm nuts but the FE gifts take up a lot of room and I'm gone for 2 1/2 weeks by myself so....

Has anyone ever purchased the birthday package for room decorating? My son is turning 8 and has no idea about the cruise. He's not going to find out until we are pulling up to the boat! I called to order it and the lady basically told me not to. She said it was overpriced for a banner and a card. I was a little shocked that she said that, but I guess they ultimately want you to be happy. Anyone know from experience?

Packed up the last two bags for FE. I've done both cabin gifts and gifts for each person... I've actually run out of one of the cabin gifts... will try to get another to add to the last bag but I'm not sure if I will be able to.

On another note four weeks until I leave!!!!

Yes, we "north-easters" have DEFINITELY had enough of winter!!! Countdown to the Cruise! Woohoo!!

I wish we could! I'm traveling alone with my (almost) 5 year old with a bulky stroller, backpack, suitcase and carry-on. Don't ask me how I'm going to manage all that, I haven't figured it out yet. We're meeting my sister in Orlando, and after the parks/cruise, we are all flying to Canada. I have to pack for two people and two seasons, plus our daily surprise "Tinker Bell gifts" and FE gifts in one full-size suitcase and one kiddie carry-on! At least I'll have some help (and possibly extra luggage space) leaving Disney!

I *thought* I was done with preparation. But then I had the idea of decorating the photo matte, so now it's got the Disney Cruise Line logo across the bottom and my Princess's name along the top. Now all I need to pick up a couple of things to finish up the last two FE gifts. I THINK. LOL!

Now it's just a matter of organizing; what gifts she will receive each day, what outfit she will wear at which park (she is getting some t-shirts as surprises), and the most efficient way to pack for hot and cold weather.

Our Magic Bands shipped this morning, but we haven't received our parks or cruise package yet...

Wow it certainly sounds like you have your hands full but just remember it will all be worth it!!!

Okay, as a first-time cruiser (Disney or otherwise!), do you guys have any advice? We chose two excursion packages, keeping it simple--we're just looking for SUN and HEAT, as it's friggin' cold here in Boston. Should we bring lanyards and plastic slip-cases for our KTTW cards, or just pocket them? Bring bottled water (from the airport??), or just pay the price on the ship? And--apologies for being a newbie here--but how challenging is it to head back on board at your leisure when you're done with the beach? Traveling with a kid means anything can happen, and if it's a case of "once your off the ship in the morning, you can't get back on until x-o'clock," I need to be prepared for that. Any lessons you guys have learned over the years would be appreciated.
