April 12, 2009 4 Night Wonder

Anybody sailing with us yet? It will be me, DH, and DD (14) on our first cruise.

My son, 14 at that time, and I will be on the Wonder for the 4-night April 12 - 16th. We are sooo excited. It will be our first ever cruise.

It'll be our first too! I was so excited to tell DH that DD might have a buddy I can introduce her to. He said "NO BOYS!" Such a dad! Well, at least I'LL have someone to chat with as we plan and wait!!

Count us in for this cruise! This will be the first Disney cruise for DH and DS (2), but the third for DS (10) and me. Looking forward to seeing DH and DS see the ship for the first time!

I'm glad to see somebody else on board! My sister, her hubby, and my 10 year old nephew will also be onboard. Maybe my nephew will run into your son in the kids club.

Hi there! We are in and can't wait! I will be there with my FDH, (We are getting married on December 13th so he will be my DH by then! ) and his DD11. It is our second cruise as we did the Easter Wonder Cruise last year as well. We are SOOO Excited and can't wait to meet all of you!

Can't believe it's time to start a new countdown! We are still on for the April 12th cruise AND we have friends that are now coming with! I believe that both girls will be 11 by then!

My DD (14) would love to get to know anyone her age she might be seeing in the teen club. Maybe they could swap emails or something ? Oh, I can relate to the freezing. I'm a native New Yorker, but now live in Milwaukee which makes NY seem toasty!!

My daughter doesn't really e-mail much but I will send you a pm... and we can figure out how to get them talking

I am spending the really cold days planning our vacation... the pictures of other people's vacations do an amazing job of keeping me psyched

Will you be in Disney before the cruise?

We're heading down the day before the cruise and spending the night at the Hyatt at the airport relaxing. We're on deck 5. I scored a secret porthole room! I booked this cruise so far in advance and have been planning for so long that I can't believe it's almost here! Thanks for the contact information for your daughter. I'll pass it on to DD!

Having said that our kids, Jack (4) and Grace (8) are wondering if anyone has organized Fish Extenders for this cruise? We had a blast on our last cruise with the Fish Extenders and would love to participate again.

We didn't do fish extenders on our last trip so I didn't think about them again but I would be willing to check out the prospect definately! I have seen alot of posts on the DCL boards about them so it would be fun!

I don't think anyone has organized FEs yet. I'd be happy to participate if anyone wants to organize. I'm a newbie to cruising and very unqualified!

If you are interested in "getting on board" (pun intended), then please let me know the following:

Stateroom #
names and ages of children (or not) in your stateroom.

I will keep a list and will make sure to post the information so that you know where to find the Fish Extenders.

If you are uncertain or don't know anything about "Fish Extenders" then we recommend that you do a search of the threads for complete details - I think that others explain it so much better than I ever could - not to mention that they have pictures.

Hi this will be our 3rd DC. Den & Dawn with 2 DS ages 7 and 11. We are sailing with 2 other families(they are newbies to DC!!!) boy 15, girl 10 and another boy 6. We can't wait to leave!! Especially after today's weather here in CT...ugh....10 inches of snow! Bring on Castaway Cay!!!!! Looking forward to meeting you all!
