Applying unused portions of ticket to new tickets

I know it's possible to apply the unused portion of a ticket towards a new ticket, but can I use part my unused ticket towards someone else's ticket?

The tickets are non transferable. If you're asking about using part for one ticket and part for another, the answer is no. And you can't use two tickets traded to get a larger one back either. Remember that they only give you what you paid back when, not the current days value. That means if the tickets are older, you may lose more value than you'd gain with a new ticket.

I don't know if you can trade the tickets AND use the DVC discount for the AP, my guess is no but it's just a guess.

Disney will allow you to apply the remaining value of one partially used ticket towards the purchase of a discounted DVC annual or premium annual pass.

(Assumes you are qualified to purchase the DVC discounted pass and that you are the owner of the partially used pass).

Nope, can't do that. Only one "old" ticket can be used as a credit for one new ticket (which must be a higher value ticket than the one being used for credit. It's a one to one deal.

If your partially used ticket is an old park hopper (a pre-MYW version), your friend could use it (no way to know whose tickets those were), but used MYW tickets have biometrics associated with them. Your friend could try using your MYW ticket as a credit - maybe a CM would allow it, but AFAIK, they are not supposed to.
