I was accepted for the Spring 2009 Career Start Program, but sadly my grandmother passed away and i could not attend. In December I applied for FT and I was put on a wait list (John my CM recruiter loved me) that has now expired. Yesterday on my way home from a disney trip i reapplied yet again with all intentions of accepting anything including seasonal and not just FT.. I am a nervous wreck lol I know I have been concidered "Disney" material twice before but there is no guarantee i will get an interview. waiting is so freaking hard this is my least favorite part of my experience with applying with WDW WAITING!!!!!
hopefully the 3rd times a charm!

Oh my gosh, I know. Waiting is awful.
I started my process just to get a Part-Time job in September, 2010.
This is the basic timeline:

September 2010:
First Interview.
"Come back when you have 3 full days avaliable."

January 2011:
I now have 3 full days.
"We don't have any openings now. You're on a waiting list."

February 2011:
"We have a spot! Come in with 2 forms of ID."

March 2011:
"This isn't a valid form of ID. Come back in a week.

Later, March 2011:
"Great! Traditions is in two weeks for you."

Took a bunch of trips to Casting, but I'm really happy now. :]

yeah.. i just wish i would have asked for seasonal or part time before. because i would be working there by now. and now i have no guarantees of another interview

UPDATE: I just received an e-mail from Universal Orlando (also applied) saying they are hiring for immediate positions and to contact them for scheduling (my guess is an interview). Disney is my "Dream" place so should I respond to Universals e mail or wait and see what disney does?

I think you should still try for Universal. There is actually quite a few people that work at both Universal and Disney. I'd not mind both park perks :)

I'd go for Universal. It'd be worth it just to get a job with either enterprise.
