Applying Bounce back to an existing reservation

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can apply a bounceback to an existing reservation? We will be staying at OKW at the beginning of August then heading off on a cruise followed by a stay at Vero Beach. Our last 3 nights are at the Yacht Club currently booked at rack rate. I'm hoping for an AP discount but if there wasn't one would I be able to call the bounceback number while we're staying at OKW and have them apply the discount to our YC reservation?

I would like to know this as well! We will be staying at the Beach Club in March and already have a reservation booked for Sept/Oct. at rack rate. If I can't, I'll likely cancel and rebook unless FD comes out before our stay in March.

YES YOU CAN! I had an existing res for June 1-8 using the Spring discount code and I used the 35% bounceback on Feb 4 before I checked out of Boardwalk. So I was able to go from saving 25% using the Spring discount to 35% using the bounceback for Animal Kingdom Lodge. Good luck!

JMO you might want to be prepared for a couple things.

Since your first stay is so close to your second stay the YC might not have availability left under the BB offer - so you might want to have another resort picked out to check as a backup.

Also usually in August the Room Discount BB expires and a Free Dining BB starts, which is to be able to book a return stay for the next years FD dates a year in advance. Of course no one knows if they will do this again this year, but I'd suggest checking the DIS right before you leave and see if anyone has posted any info about it changing, and if not, call extension 8844 from your resort room as soon as you hit the room to try and catch the room discount BB before it expires

We're on the West Coast first and then hit WDW on 7th August with our YC stay on 22nd so we might get lucky with the time frame or, as you said, the FB BB might have come in. Meanwhile I'll keep checking for a general or AP code

We're flying over from the West Coast so won't get into our room until late evening

I did last year. And the bounceback rate was better than the AP rate.

But the 2 trips were 5 months apart so I don't know if it would work for you since they are just days apart.

As I always tell my kids, it never hurts to ask nicely. LOL
