what's your favorite?

I like 1/2 granny smith apple with SF peanut butter as a snack! Low carb, and very healthy!

Laugh, we just went through this at our house- my 8 year old wanted to know why I buy the same apples every week (Golden Delicious) so I said, "Okay, let's try them all and y'all pick" So we tried

Fiji or Fuji ??

(And we used to live in Washington State where we seemed to have many more varieties- LOVED THEM!!)
But- for the first batch Pink Lady was their favorite (my three kids 8,5,4) but the second batch they loved Golden Delicious and picked it over Pink Lady. I love Fiji and Braeburn if they're really fresh but I've never had a bad Golden Delicious- and if you're really feeling the craving for sweet- they taste delicious drizzled with caramel sauce.
LOVE MY APPLES- that's partly why I would have a hard time with ATkins induction- I eat 1/2 a one everyday!

Golden Delicious with some microwave popcorn (If you get the fat free it's LOADED with fiber -- actually making it less than a point. But since there are 2 servings in a bag I make it two points). Very yummy and filling!

Oh this simply isn't fair!!!

We have red delicious, golden delicious, granny smith (my fav), and gala apples. That's it.

The produce here stinks. It doesn't matter which store I go to. I miss Schnucks and Dierbergs from St Louis! WAH!!

My ultimate favorite apple is the Staymen Winesap, but I can only get them in the fall. Fresh off the tree is when they are best!
But I'll "make do" with granny smith, johnathan, gala and fuji. Yellow delicious in a pinch.
But never ever ever red delicious. I can't stand their texture and to me they are flavorless.

I don't think apple pie counts... but I love it too! My favorite real apple is Pink Lady - they are sweet but still slightly tart. Great with peanut butter.

Those are my favorites too!! I like my apples slightly tart and crisp. Gala are probably my favorite because they have such a "fruity" taste to them. Red delicious are probably my least favorite because I think they're too mushy.
