I just got it yesterday and set it up today. So much better than using my Wii for Netflix. And my photos on a 42" tv screen????? OMG.

magical isn't it? Do you have a favorite channel? I notice most of ours come from Undercover Tourist. They seem to have some of the best POV of the attractions.
Can you tell me why it is better than using the Wii, which is what we do currently? I've thought about getting it but couldn't see what we would use it for that we can't already do another way. I'm happy to spend the $99 if we'd get use out of it.So much better than using my Wii for Netflix.

I don't own a wii, but I have a TiVo and I'm pretty sure the AppleTV has a much smoother interface. The other, possibly more important issue, is that wii will only provide 480p(I believe) on Netflix while AppleTV as 1080i. I picked up on the quality difference right away.
So other than the HD capability, what do you use the Apple TV for exactly? I'm really not clear on what it would allow me to do.
