Apple Scooter, NOT RECOMMEND!

I made the mistake of renting 2 scooters (ecv) from Apple Scooter. Lost about 3 hours of park time yesterday when one went dead at the Magic Kingdom.

Driver arrived and swapped our easily transported scooters for larger ones, and said he'd take the portable back to our hotel. We needed portable to take to Universal this morning. He said we could keep the larger scooter in our room, then when we got back to Disney, they would pickup the portable.

Well, guess what, they didn't drop the portable, and now I'm at Universal without.

The person i talked to at Apple this morning said he couldn't allow 4 out at the same time and was unable, more like unwilling, to do the RIGHT thing and hot shot a couple over to us at Universal. He would not honor what his employee promised.

As our useless phone call ended this morning, I told him to just completely cancel our whole reservation.

Incredibly horrible experience, as we have now completely missed early entry at Universal this morning while we wait for another company to deliver scooters.


Thank you APPLE for costing us 5 hours of expensive park time!!!

If you check the Better Business Bureau reports, they have an F rating. That's enough to scare me off.

We had used their stroller rentals for several years and had good experience but last year the stroller we got was just filthy, tearing everywhere and the support bar actually broke the first day. I contacted them and they agreed not to charge us for the stroller but since the stroller was still usable, they offered no option for getting a replacement. I will never use Apple again for any kind of rental.

OP, I'm sorry you have lost so much park time. It is expensive time and I'd be as frustrated as you are.

I too, am sorry that you lost so much of your vacation time to dealing with that issue, and experiencing poor customer service.

I've been renting from Apple for years. They were always good until this year. In February, got a scooter that was broken to pieces and had one tire that was very literally bald and had huge chunks missing out of it. I called and they assured me the tire would not blow out, which it didn't, but felt quite uncomfortable with it.
