Apple Pay is coming to Disney World – What does it mean for the average guest?

Will the existing MagicBand technology interact with your iPhone or Apple Watch? Will guests be able to access their My Disney Experience information and FastPass+ reservations through their new Apple Watch? Will guests be able to open up their resort room with their iPhone 6?

I would guess no in regards to the fast pass and tickets as there are many different back of house things involved with the magic band sand the ticketing system. Well you may be able to pay using your apple watch or iPhone Disney may not be able to link the ticket and FP + system to it. They also may not want to to encourage people to buy magic bands or use them in the park.

I think it will be interesting to see how Disney adapts the My Disney Experience app to the Apple watch. If all else fails, the digital version of the Mickey watch will be fun to have!

I think that would depend on if the apple watch is compatible with the MDE system.
