Apple Crisp Crumb Topping.

Hi. How do make the crunchy crumb topping on apple crisp? I would love to have some for my icecream, or pudding ect.

This is not apple crisp topping, but very very good ice cream topping!

Mrs. Griebel's Ice Cream Topping

1/4 cup margerine, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 cup pecans, chopped

Mix all ingredients and bake for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Mrs. Griebel was a sweet older lady from our church who was a home ec teacher. We got the recipe from her. It is wonderful. Man I wonder if I have corn flakes to make some now... I love eatting it plain!

for mine i just put together equal parts oatmean and sugar. you can even use brown sugar too.

You know I don't know and I am at work now so I don't have the recipe. I think I usually do it at 350, but I am not sure. Try that a keep an eye on it.
