I think I post wayy too much on the restaurants section. I think this is b/c I don't cook well @ all. I only make breakfast well. & Pasta. (from a box) :rotfl2::rotfl2: My chicken is always bland & I'm just a down right awful cook. :confused3 But, I LOVE TO EAT. & I am looking forward to eating @ WDW.:mickeyjum So this brings me to my daily question, finally. When you are on the DDP, can you order an Appetizer as an entree?? Or not? Some of the appetizers look better than the main courses. :cutie:

i had the deluxe plan and wanted the eggplant parmesan from Tutto as my entree. I asked if they could do that as an entree and just make it a little larger portion. They said no. If i wanted it, it had to be my entree. It was delicious but i wish they could have just given me more as an entree but i guess they dont want to figure out how to do that. In your situation if you dont want to change the portion size, they'd probably let you have the appetizer as an entree... or they should b/c it will save them money.

oh ok! Ya, i'd want the egg plant too. I guess it's ok if they don't up the portions. I'm not a big meat eater & we are going to Le Celier & I think the cheese soup looks the best. Plus I love a good salad, so I don't mind just paying for an app & getting one for my entree. I do it @ restaurants @ home too.

it will vary from one restaurant to the next...some places are not very flexible on substituting appetizer for entree. Never hurts to ask, though. :thumbsup2

Yes it varies from place to place. I agree some of the appetizers do look really good and enough for your meal!!!

Yes. Because I often will have been snacking in the park too. So it's hard to get hungry for a huge meal. I just can't resist the snacks! Love the egg rolls, pickles, pretzels I can't wait! Back to what I was saying, I might not need a big meal anyways.

At Le Cellier you should get the experience-

"Le Cellier Experience - Choose one from each category: Appetizers: Mixed Field Green Salad, Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage.

Entrees: Salmon "BLT"l, Grilled Steak Salad, Porcini Mushroom Ravioli, Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken, Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich on Toasted Ciabatta. Desserts: Maple Creme Brulee, Canadian Chocolate Moose, Seasonal Sorbet. No substitutions. - $29.99 "

So you could have the soup, salad, and still get 1 of the 2 best desserts (moose and MCB):thumbsup2.

This is also good since the soup is something you tend to either love or hate- DH loved it, I was disppointed. I personally eat at LeCellier for the rissoto- I am thinking about just ordering a side of that and saving my credit next time :rotfl:
