Apartment Questions...

I am going to be attending the fall 2011 session in Florida... I was wondering about space in the apartments to put storage bins. Specifically, is there space under the beds to place bins or small boxes? (I would like to know this for Patterson Court, Vista Way and Chatham Square.)

Also does anyone know the current weekly rates for each apartment building and apartment size?

I heard that a lot of people bring bed risers so they can fit more stuff under the beds!

Yes, bed risers are marvelous! I kept my suitcase and a box under my bed, and my storage bins in the closet. My roommate and I got the room with the larger closet, so there was plenty of room to pile them up in there. The apartments are actually surprisingly large; they looked much smaller in the pictures, or so I thought.

I lived in patterson Fall 09. The apartments are really large...I didn't use bed risers but I didn't have ton of stuff to store as I used the space saver bags to pack clothes rather then suitcases, anything I needed to store I put in the closet, the closets in all 3 rooms in the 3 bedroom apartment at Patterson are big enough to store some stuff.

Also there is a huge closet in the kitchen area that some of my roommates used to store suitcases. I would have preferred we stored other things in the closet but they were international students so they had more suitcases with them then I think most people would have. All in all you will have plenty of space. Our apartment was really quite large. I was in a few in Vista as well, I would definitely request Patterson if possible!

Yes you pay less with more people in the apartment.

No, you share a closet with your roommate. It's a big walk-in closet, though, so you should have plenty of space. And you each get a locker that are located inside the closets, so you can lock your private or valuable stuff away.

At least in the 2bdrm chatham apts the closet sizes in each bedroom are different. One has what I would call a large walk in that can definitly fit 2 people in it at once. The other one, you would be hard pressed to fit two people in there at once without bumping elbows. Both are walk in and have a good ammount of space but one is significantly bigger than the other.
