Apart from your current home , what home means the most to you?

My parents house. They lived there 50+ years and my bro and I grew up in that house. It was odd that we never moved once in our childhood.

The home that I grew up in after my adoption. The love, stability and feeling like I finally belonged somewhere was monumental.

My parent's house. It's the family farm. My grandmother was born in a log cabin (1906) where the barn sits now. The house was built when she was a child. My parents bought it when I was 13 (after my grandpa passed away). It's seen a lot of changes, but it's the place we all call home.

The house my parents moved into when I was 3. I sold it 53 years later when my mom passed away. I don't remember the house my parents had when I was born, but my parents owned it for 10 years. My wife and I have been in our house 40 years. People in my family don't move very often.

Excluding DH and My prior home ( this home is #2) it would be myParents' home. Sis & I grew there and Mom still lives.

My family's mountain vacation home. My parents purchased the lot in 1970 and had the shell professionally built. My dad did most of the interior work himself. We went up nearly every weekend for two years to work on it. My dad's handiwork is everywhere, including many of the clocks and other woodworking projects he made after he retired. Now that he's gone, this house means the world to me. In fact, I'm sitting in it right now. DH, DS and I drove up today to spend a week here. I'm doing a few maintenance projects while we're here. I'm committed to showing this place as much love as my dad did.
