Does anyone know if you can return an AP voucher/Exchange Certificate if it was purchased by credit card?

I am in the process of becoming a DVC member and found out I can get a $100 discount on tickets.

Yes!!!

I did this last year to so that we could get a good AP code for December. Well...when the BP program came out, guess what? I couldn't use it for our dates so there was no reason for me to be an AP.

I went to Guest Services in the Magic Kingdom and they basically did a return and credited my card.

Good luck!

You may want to ask on the DVC Planning Board. I don't have personal experience with this (we've had AP for years, but didn't use vouchers), but I seem to remember some posts that indicated they woud refund the difference when you activated your voucher and present your DVC Membership Card.

You should be Ok to get the difference back, lemme share my experience.....

I bought my annual pass this year and two days later bought into DVC. Not realizing I was entitled to the discount (about $100), I didn't say anything till I came home and read some other DIS posts.

Next trip (5 months later) I stopped by a Guest Services booth in DTD and asked about it. I got the difference (something like $100) refunded to me in cash since that's how I'd paid. Got a new pass printed up, same expiration date, and was on my way with the money in a matter of minutes.

So I'm sure you'll be able to work something out with them also. Good luck!
