AP tickets - are discounts available at WDW other than hotels?

I was comparing ticket prices and debating on whether or not we need one annual pass for the discounts. We're DVC members and my husband works for the airlines (which allows a 50% room discount) so we really don't need it for the hotel stays. Does the AP offer other discounts at WDW?

Yes, but I wouldn't get one just for the discounts - your DVC membership will get you many of the same discounts.

My advice is to get an AP or PAP only if it is the best park admission option for you. Here's a link that compares the discounts - it may not be entirely accurate, but it is very close.

Last year, AP holders were offered Cirque du Soleil tickets for $54, that's $20 off reg admission. There are other discounts: the theme park tours are discounted, restaurants are discounted, some stores are discounted.

Just wanted to say Hi -- I grew up in AP, and my parents still live there. We are also DVC members at BWV.

We just returned from an Easter trip, and are AP holders. I mainly use it to get two trips out of the AP. The big Dis store at downtown Disney gives you 10% off. Unless you can get at least 8-visits out of the AP, it might not be worth it.
