Hello :)

I need some help and advice! So we are going to be in the Paris area w/c 27th May - one day that week we will be going to the parks for one day only.

I am very tempted by the AP price on the ce-multiavantages site especially seen as it is certain that we will visit again within the year at least once. Also the free child passes is a big draw as our DS is now 3.

BUT - I've read horror stories here about long queues to validate AP's at the AP office. As we only have one day I don't want to spend a chunk of it doing that, so....

  • Is there anywhere you can buy "real" APs ahead of time - not a voucher to exhange?

  • or if we did buy from ce-multiavantages which day of the week would be quietest to visit the AP office?

  • Also on the ce-multiavantages the currently have a day ticket for 36 euro but the end date of this promotion is 22nd May - any idea if a new one covering my dates will appear? or is that a very rare offer?

Thanks in advance for this - I know these are odd questions!!

The only way you can get a real AP is by mail order from DLP directly and you won't get a free childrens one.

All other AP that you can buy, even the ones at the gate, have to be made into permanant AP's in the AP office.

The best time to go is a week day that is during school term. If you go on a weekend, public holiday or during school holidays you are going to queue for a while which can be a few hours .

In school term on a week day you can be in and out within 15 minutes.

Have no idea concerning the 36€ ticket, there is no rhyme nor reason to the reduced ticket offers or ticket flash sales. If you are happy with the AP price I'd go for that rather than waiting and seeing what offer "might" be on

:goodvibes

Thank Carrie - I suspected that might be the case. That week is UK half term but no other countries are on school holls from what I can see. Is there any day of the week that is going to be quieter in your opinion? I think I might just have to go with it - the price is too good to pass up! If I buy AP for me DH and DS do we all have to queue up?

You'll be fine as France isn't on holiday, Italy don't break up until the 10th or so of June and Spain not until the 22nd June.

I don't see hoards of UKers buying AP's ;)

You have to change your temporary AP for a real AP on the first day you use it so if you go into the park on Monday it's that day and so on.

All of you need to queue as they take your photo at the counter in the AP office and print it sraight onto the AP. Don't forget that everyone needs to show their passport (even your son) at the AP office :)
