AP theme park reservation - when is too late to cancel? And what is penalty?

Hey all -
I thought I saw this months ago but can’t find reference. We have 2 upcoming WDW trips and all our park reservations are made including our arrival day.

If our flights are really delayed and we can’t make it to a park, what is penalty for an AP holder who no shows a park reservation? And can I cancel same day if it becomes evident we won’t make it? Or is same day same as a no show?

I realize there is a small likelihood that we won’t make it to the park but I don’t want us to lose all other park reservations if we no show day 1 due to flights.

No penalty for not showing up, and you won’t lose your other park reservations. Canceling is simply a courtesy to other potential guests, if the reservations were fully booked, since it might open up availability for them.

good to know! I was almost certain I had read AP holders who no showed would be blocked from future reservations but I could be making that up or they may have changed the policy.

yes we would definitely cancel once a huge flight delay became apparent.
