AP Renewal "letter"- lack of one

My AP expires April 21, and ALWAYS before they have sent me a letter about a month ahead offering me a discount (usally in concert with my DC membership) if I renew within 30 days of expiration..I'm just THREE weeks away, and NO letter...those who have renewed recently, please share your experiences.

our ap's expired in mid february and i received my renewal letter about 3 weeks prior to expiration...i opt'ed not to renew at the time but to purchase new as we will not be able to get back to the world until june and the 1 year from june period will cover two trips for us....

My AP expired on Feb 13, I never received a letter. I called on the 14th after I remembered it expired sometime in February and the CM said I really had up to 30 days to renew. No they did not give me a discount!

You don't need a letter to renew your AP/PAP. Unless you paid for a new AP/PAP, you did get a discount. Disney considers the renewal rate a discount (as opposed to paying full price for the AP/PAP). Disney Club members pay slightly less than the general public for both new APs/PAPs and renewed APs/PAPs.

Premium Annual Pass $520.79 (with DC $499.49)
Premium Annual Pass renewal $467.54 (with DC $451.56)

Prices include the 6.5% tax.

I got my renewal letter about a week after my AP expired. I decided to wait as I won't be visiting the world until August, and wanted the year to begin then.

My pass was up the middle of this month and I got a renewal letter in the middle of February. Of course, I forgot the letter when we went to the park, but they didn't even ask for it, just renewed the pass at the renewal rate with no questions asked.

We got 2 letters....one at 30+ days out and one at 2 weeks after renewel date....fun thing is we did renew on the date of renewal...

and his pas expires April 7th.

Seems as if they do them in batches or something as some folks get them 30 days in advance and some just get them days prior to expiring.

I go my letter three days before I expired, but as I was having surgery that week I was not planning to renew letter or not.

My AP expired last December and I never received a letter offering to renew it. Since I'm going on the Disney cruise this year I'm not going to need. PLEASE don't tell me they offer tremendous discounts for AP holders!
