AP Rates On Weekends?

I’m hoping for good AP rates in August. For some reason, I’m thinking there’s something about AP rates not being offered on the weekends during “non Value Seasons”. If/when an AP rate is offered for the end of this Summer Season, would this special rate normally include weekends or would weekends be at the rack rate? Also, what about weekends during the Value Season? Would they be at a discounted AP rate or would they be at rack rate?

I believe the AP discounts do cover the weekends. I know for my trip last Sept/Oct I got it and also for my upcoming May 1st-9th trip I'm getting it. Now weekend rates are higher, but they're higher for everybody. You still get the 40% AP discount off those higher weekend rates though.

Every so often when I check a resort for some reason the weekends aren't included. I really thought it was weird when (you know how they give other resorts) one time the price for ASMu was no discount for the weekend while the price for ASMo had the discount for the entire week! I even have priced (I do it every day almost to see if WL is avail for my stay) Feb 5-12 many times and most times the pricing is for the discount for the entire week and at times, some resorts don't have the weekend discount applied. I don't know what it's all about Weird!
