AP rate w/ dining do I need to buy tix?

For our trip in February my hubby will have an AP, myself and my daughters will not. I understand I should we be able to book at the AP discount rate (when it comes out) and add QS dining for all of us. My question is regarding tickets. Can I get tickets for myself and my daughters from a 3rd party like AAA ahead of time or will we need to buy some type of park tickets for everyone in the room as part of the package? I'm used to the regular offers in which we can only add dining when we are all on the same package with tickets included. I'm wondering how it works with the AP rate with dining added...

THe only time you have to purchase tickets with an AP and dining plan is when it's the free dining offer. With FD you have to at least purchase a one day ticket per person, however, the ticket remains good until used. We have a few 1 day tickets that we are keeping to upgrade in the future!! You can book the room and dining without tickets if you are paying for the dining without purchasing tickets.

You don't get an AP rate with an offer like Free Dining or the 4/3 promotion. Assuming you get an AP rate on the room, you can add dining (that you pay for) without adding tickets for the others in the room. You will all be on the same meal plan, but you and your daughter can buy your tickets wherever and whenever you like.
