AP rate extension?

I see that the AP discounts are only up until 6/3. Is there any chance that Disney will extend this any further into the summer season? Have there been AP hotel rates during late June in the past?

Yes I we received one last year and we went the last of July and a little bit of Aug.
I know we got one because we were able to get dining on our room.

Well, I was just going to start a thread but this one seems to fit. I also received an email in regard to Passholders. I thought it would be a new offer or a PIN, however, all it did was connect to the passholder site (I haven't been having problems for what ever reason like other posters have had) and talks about the offers good through June 3! I haven't gone back in today so it may have changed, but that was where the link went to. I really think it odd this plus all the GP offers and PINs and nothing new for AP or FL res!

I also got the email yesterday about AP rates, but when I logged in they were the same old rates thru June 3. I don't understand why they sent the email unless rates are supposed to be extended but they're not showing up online.

As far as OP's question, I'll chime in with the others and say that normally AP rates are indeed offered most of the calendar year except for peak season times, though over the last couple of years they have included some peak times but I believe that is due to slow economy.

We got the same e-mail yesterday. I was so excited when I saw the special rate info. Quite a disappointment when I logged on and realized the dates have not changed! We have been able to book rooms during the summer months with AP rates in the past. Hopefully the rates will be extended soon!
