AP rate -2 rooms?

I recently made a reservation for 2 rooms using my AP. I booked my own room first, then booked a room for my parents and linked the reservations together. I recently read that you need an AP holder in each room. When did this change? I thought it was either 2 (or even 3) rooms per pass. I'm the only one who has an AP - will someone else have to buy one to get the rate on the second room?

They changed it a few months ago. There must be an AP holder in each room. Bummer!!!
