AP questions

I have my first annual pass so I am not sure where to find discounts.

We have DVC and have a studio booked for presidents week. That being said the price of air fare is ridiculous so I am thinking of trying to leave 1 or 2 days early and paying for a room OOP. We are staying at the BWV and without a discount it is very expensive. As an annual passholder are there room discounts available? are they all the time or only for certain times of the year? do I have to call about rooms or is there a website I can go to, to number crunch and find out if this is the best option to present to my husband

I have been stalking rates for the Princess 1/2 which is the weekend after presidents....and so far no discounts for AP. I have been looking on the website signing into the AP passholder page. I had asked here and someone told me they dont think it was until November or Dec last year they offered a deal for late Feb for AP. Stinks as I don't want free dining and the race discounts are not good.

I have been trying to get on the Disney passholder website and it won't let me even connect to it. it said disneyworld/p*******r.com...is that the right site??? Can someone give me the site address???

I go to the main site, disneyworld.com and at the top where it says LOG IN or REGISTER, there's also a PASSHOLDERS to click on. From there, you log in with your regular email address/pw, and if you haven't registered your AP yet, it gives you several different options for entering your AP number, depending on what style of AP you have. You can also enter a voucher number, if you have ordered it, but not activated it.

AP discounts for 2012 aren't out yet. They only released the AP discounts for Oct-Dec about a month ago.

Thank you...so maybe in a few weeks they may have them out. I am really hoping that it will be a good room discount so I can extend our trip...I would rather pay for the room and be at Disney a few more days than the stupid plane ticket and be there for a shorter amount of time....fingers crossed!
