Not sure if this is the right spot.. but here goes:rolleyes1
DOes the AP rate change in January 2009 i.e. the rate that is shown on the website today.. will it be more next year in 2009?
Does the 365 days start from the date of purchase or the date of first use?

I am thinking of getting some AP's for the first time. My plan is to hopefully get some sort of free dining in fall 2009, buy my AP then, plus the package and 1 day park tickets. Then go back to WDW in Dec. with my 40% pin code (still cannot beleive I got one:banana: ), then possibly go back next fall 2010, before the passes expire.. thus getting 3 trips worth from those AP's... does this make sense? Is it possible?

thanks disers!:flower3:

An AP is good for 365 days from activation--when you purchase at the parks or exchange your voucher.

No one knows when the next price increase will be, but considering the economy I wouldn't think they would do it again this January since they just did it in August.

If you are going for free dining, buy whatever ticket you want and then use it once (just in case there is another increase so you get current full gate value), upgrading it at guest relations inside the park to an AP. That will save you the most money in the long run. Otherwise, your plan is a good one.
