AP Question

We are considering getting Disney AP's. We are torn between the Platinum and the Platinum Plus (which includes the water parks). We really like the water parks but have Aquatica AP's that expire in March 2017. We really don't need both. Does Disney allow us to just get the Platinum now, and prorate an upgrade to Platinum Plus in March?

I'm assuming not because then everyone would just wait to get the water park upgrade for when the weather is warmer but wondered whether anyone knew for sure.

You can upgrade from the Platinum to the Platinum Plus, but they don't prorate the cost.
