I currently have an existing ressie at YC for 4/25-5/3, standard room. I believe that the $$$ saved with an AP discount would be more than the amount for my dh or I to get an AP. So my questions are can he and I both have dining for all eight nights, and only one of us have an adult MYW ticket booked with the package?

Also if I book this and then the same discount is available for the general public, can I cancel this ressie and rebook with the GP code?

Also what is the AP code for package with dining? I couldn't find it on Mousesavers.

Thanks,

Kate

Please someone help :flower3: ...I am trying to decide whether I should call now and book a new ressie.

thanks

Adding the dining plan to the AP is a brand new thing. I have no idea what the answer to your questions would be. Its probably best to call CRO and ask them the ticket question.

Hope you get your answers soon

Take Care

I could be wrong, but the person I spoke with on the phone told me that you cannot get the dining package with an AP rate on the hotel.

You must pay rack rate for the room to get the dining plan.

I went with the AP rate as it was significantly less.

I hope this is what you were asking.

I would call and check with CRO re: your dates. If one of you is going to buy an AP, then I would book the AP package with dining, and then buy the 1 MYW ticket you need through an authorized ticket broker - that way you'll save $$, too, on the ticket over Disney's cost.

You should be able to cancel and rebook if the GP code is better for you (assuming one comes out) as long as you're outside the 45-day cancellation period for packages.

Good luck!

Your CM was misinformed. As of today, AP holders can add the DDP to their room-only reservations (effectively turning it into a package, but w/o the tickets).

Nope - I just wasn't up to date

My information is old news

Just reporting back. I called and got a new quote and I ended up saving $650!! Ok here are the details:

Original package:
4/25-5/3 YC Standard Room
Deluxe Dining for 2 Adults + 1 Child
7 Day base tickets for 2A+1C

New Package:
Same dates Beach Club Standard Room
Same Dining Plan
Purchased seperately 1 Adult Annual Pass, 1 Adult 7 day PH Pass and 1 Child 7 day PH pass.

So the new arrangement purchasing the tickets on a separate transaction today (non-refundable), I still come out saving $650!!! Plus we have an annual pass!! :woohoo:

:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

So even though a GP discount may come out in a couple weeks, I have no regrets as I already have a discount locked in.

We probably won't even go back again in the next year, but it is still worth the $$$ saved.

I used the code ANA.

Good luck everyone!!

Kate
