AP purchase Swan?

Does anyone know if I buy a Florida resident annual pass at their ticket booth will I still need to activate it at a ticket window at the park? Tried to call the Swan and got shuffled and put on hold for 24 minutes because no one knew the answer. Geesh!

I've heard the ticket booth can not activate APs, but I wouldn't want to be quoted on it. I would love if it were true, though, since we'll need to activate in October before our EEMH at HS.

you can only activate at Guest Relations Disney Springs or at the parks

APs can be activated at any Guest Relations location OR at any ticket booth at any park - including the water parks. I've both upgraded and activated APs at a ticket booth at HS.

APs cannot be activated at the resorts.
