I'm sure this has been asked before so sorry in advance. I have a friend who has AP's. I want to take my DD for her 7th B-day to the Trick or Treat Party, but want to save $$$$. Can my friend by the passes for me? Does she have to be with us to redeem them? Do they e-mail the tickets, mail them or have them at a will call station? Thanks!!!;)

Your friend has to buy them on the AP website or call the Disney Entertainment phone number and give their AP information, there is a limit of 8 I believe and they can mail them to your friend for an additional cost. I think they go on sale to the public in a couple weeks. :confused3

I don't recall all the details, I bought mine back in May when they first went on sale. Good luck :)

Didn't go last year, but in previous years the tickets were mailed to me. There is no name or indication of an AP, so anyone could use the tickets. One year I had friends cancel on me so I sold a pair of tickets on eBay.

So unless they have changed the way they handle the tickets, your friend can order the tickets, the mail them to you. The friend would not have to be with you to get in. The tickets will be an actual ticket, no exchanging required.

Thanks so much for the info!!! I don't know what I would do without all of you!

One more thing that might help...I just bought 3 tickets using my AP discount and depending what day you want to go, you can still get them for as low as $26 each. I purchased mine through the Disneyland website and had to log in to my AP account to get access to the special price. They emailed me the tickets and I printed them at home. No mailing charge :) . There is nothing on the ticket that indicates that I am an AP, but there is a bar code which I'm sure contains my pertinent info. However, I can't imagine them asking to see my AP. Hope this helps.

Last year I got my TOTP tickets from someone (an AP holder) who had to cancel their TOTP plans and go on a different night. They had gotten an AP discount on the tickets and I was wondering at that time if the CMs would check anything when I used the tickets to get in (since I was not the one who bought them online), but they didn't check at all. They ddn't care. I am sure they probably assume that AP holders occasionally buy tickets to events for friends or family - and they may not all arrive together for the buyer to show the AP. So I think it is okay.
