AP Package Question

I'm thinking of getting APs since we're visiting at least twice (August and December) in 2010. We would have gotten 8 day park hoppers for Aug and 5 day park hoppers for Dec. APs just seem to make the most sense.
A CM told me that we could have our package changed to an AP package and be able to keep deluxe dining.

A question: Are the package inclusions (30 min arcade card, etc) the same for AP packages?

Yes I think you do get all the standard package extras but if I were you I wouldn't go buy your AP yet.

I would wait and see what kind of deals Disney comes out with before buying the AP.

You might find a better package deal than an AP deal. Many of Disney packages require the purchase of tickets to get the deal like the buy 4 get 3 deal. You could still upgrade the tickets purchased for a package like that to an AP after you arrived at WDW in August for use on your December trip.

I agree that I should probably wait. If the 4/3 deal gets extended through the beginning of August or a different deal comes out, we may want to take advantage of that. I hope a great deal for summer 2010 is on the horizon.
