About 10 minutes ago, I received notification that I had won a spot in the Star Tours AP Preview Event!! The excitement is overwhelming I'm going on Saturday May 28th between 4 and 8 pm. I simply cannot wait

So I advise all other AP holders to check your email as I imagine they have all been sent out Good luck!!

I was about to post this! I'll be there the 28th also, but between 9:00am and 1:00pm. I'm super excited

Interesting! See, that's what I wondered - if the DLR computer system would recognize that you got a preview through another method (the Disney Parks Blog contest) and disqualify you from the AP thing, or accept you for the AP thing and disqualify you from the Parks Blog contest. I'm sure their database can identify who won what.

You may still end up getting an e-mail saying you won anyway, but if you don't I think it's because they know you won the other one!

Oh well, it looks like the Parks Blog is the better deal for you because it's in only 4 days, whereas if you got the AP thing you might not be seeing it for another week or 2 weeks.

My brain is in OVERLOAD!!!!!
I won a spot, but I let my APs lapse at the end of April to save $$ for a trip to Florida this summer.
But now I WON!!!! What am I supposed to do here?!?
I know I can just renew by paying the monthy payment, but I already told the kids we aren't going to Disneyland until the Fall, I am prepared here, and now... I'm so confused!!!

I got one for the same time, and so did my DD!! She graduates from college that morning so hopefully we'll be good!

My DH won for the 29th from 4-8 and lucky me, I won twice I got sent one to one email address for the 31st from 9-1 and to another email address from 4-8. Not quite sure exactly how it happened as I had recently changed my email address on file for my AP, but I guess the older address was still in the system too

The best part is that my DH won on the day we are arriving in Anaheim, but we were blocked out, so now we get 3 Disney days before heading down to Legoland instead of only 2!

If they expired at the end of April, you should be good! The fine print says:

"All members of your party must be present and show a Disneyland Resort Annual Passport valid as of April 10, 2011."

It also says if your pass is blocked out they'd give you a one-day, one-park ticket, so I'd assume you'd get that as well....
