DH and I are looking into getting AP's. Can we add on the Dining Plan to that? The only info I see is that for an additional $60 we can get the discount card but we want the plan with the snack, CS, and TS.

Can anybody help?

You can have both, but you will be unable to get an AP discount on the room. Also you will still have to buy one 1 day MYW ticket per person in the room. The good news on that is that it has been reported you can upgrade that ticket to an AP. (If you don't already have your APs.)

If you already have your APs you could also try to rent points for a DVC room and then the DP can be added on to that with no other ticket purchase. We moved our ressies and got a DVC rental for our last trip so we could try the dining plan & we're hooked!

Sorry, forgot to mention: DH and I will most likely be DVC owners! We're starting our paperwork today......

Congrats and an early welcome home!

Now you can get the dining plan all DVCers can get. You pay for it at check in, otherwise it is the exact same as the one you asked about.

Then you will have no problems. We are DVC members and LOVE it. Staying at SSR in Oct. and we have the DDE card for stuff not covered by DDP (alcohol, breakfast, etc.) and then we will also get the DDP too. Then we will be fully covered. The DDE card we used last year and it was such a great savings. Definitely recommend it. (that is if you like to go out and eat at a sit down restaurant every night like we do).
Oh and if you are like us and like to eat at Downtown Disney, remember you get 10% off at Fulton's crab house with your AP card.....We LOVE that place. And there are other perks of the AP card. Definitely check out the website for other discounts.

have a great time and enjoy your DVC membership. We sure do!

Thanks for the info! Is the DDP cheaper for DVC members or still the $37.99/pp?
Wish us luck about DVC! We're terrified/thrilled that we're doing it!

Another great thing about being a DVC owner is that you'll receive a $100 discount off the price of APs. :sunny:
