I'm looking to probably buy my Non-Resident Premium pass in the next couple days for my trip in March. Looking at the 2 options (pay up front vs Flex Pay) I'm leaning towards the Flex Pay option, but have a couple questions I was hoping someone here might be able to answer for me.
1. I Understand the Flex-Pay will auto-renew unless I cancel it before the renewal....and the auto-renew doesn't factor a renewal discount. Sooo... Since I'm still approx 5months from my trip, and therefore first use, Would I be able to cancel the Flex Payments so it doesn't autorenew, and then renew it while down there in November at the renewal discount, or would I have to renew at the 12month from initial purchase date?
2. (Just Confirming) Flex pay AP doesn't activate until my first use, so even if I start the purchase (and payments) this weekend, my expire date would be from my first use in March. correct?
3. The website mentioned that the Flex Payment plan is at 0% interest after tax, but it's kind of hard to calculate total purchase price from the website. Is it ultimately the same total cost to purchase the pass via the payment plan vs. a full initial purchase price?
Anything else I should be aware of? I'm staying offsite and planning 2 (at least) 2-day trips in 2011, so between ticket costs and parking I figured I came out ahead on the AP vs. individual tickets on the 2 trips.... and factoring in discounts, the valet perk, citywalk, after 4 FOTL, etc, the premium would be worth the extra over the Preferred, but those of you with more experience, is there anything I'm missing or should be aware of before making the purchase?
