Hey all--

I'm not good at math, but it's looking like AP's are the way to go for our 2008-2009 vacation year. I just need some help making sure my logic is right.

We are planning May 11-18, 2008
Then we will need park tickets for at least 2 days (if not more) of a Nov. 2008 stay (not over the holiday, just the 2nd week of Nov for a convention we are attending), and then we are also planning May 3-May 10th, 2009.

It seems to me, from crunching numbers that an AP is the way to go.

What do you all think? If we don't activate the AP's until May 11th, first day of the 2008 trip, the AP will go all the way through our May 2009 trip, right?

How do I find a list of AP Blackout dates to make sure our dates aren't blacked out for AP holders for some reason? Are weekends covered by the AP's?? I couldn't find any details on exclusions.

Also, when I looked up season pass costs on disneyworld.com, it lists $448 for adults 10+, but no price for kids 3-10? Can someone post a link for AP costs? And as DVC members, we get a discount on AP's, right?

Am I reading right that AP holders get free parking?

TIA for any help anyone can provide.

Thanks!

Chris

The APs are definitely the way to go for those plans. Your AP will be good from date of first use through the same date the following year. That means 366 days rather than 365. There are NO blackout dates for APS. They are good all 366 days. If you get your AP on May 11, 2008 your last day to use it will be May 11, 2009.

DVC members get $100 off the price of each AP. You already get free parking for staying onsite, so no need for the AP to also give you free parking, although it does.

Don't forget about other great AP perks, such as the ability to purchase the DDE.
Depending on your dinning habits, that can cover the entire cost of two APs. :smokin:

Florida residents can by a seasonal annual pass that has some blackout dates. For the rest of us, an annual pass in an annual pass - no blackout dates.
