AP / DVC Member and TIW Discounts

In reading these treads, TIW price increased from $100 to $150 usable for parts of 13 months and there is no renewal price. In reading benefits from the Disney site for purchasing AP it states:

"Tables in Wonderland Membership $25 off the non-discounted price of the Tables in Wonderland Membership. Benefits include a 20% discount (excludes applicable tax and gratuity) on all food and beverages at participating Resort hotel and Theme Park restaurants and member-only invitations to special food and wine events, winemaker dinners and celebrity chef dinners, plus much more. For more information or to purchase the membership, call 407-566-5858. Membership benefits are valid for the Passholder and up to nine (9) Guests. Offer is valid for Passholder only. Certain restrictions may apply

Since I thought you either had to be AP or DVC to purchase TIW, I am unclear of the meaning for the "$25 off the non-discounted price ....."

What am I missing?

It's saying that if you are a passholder, you can buy TIW card for $150 instead of $175, which is the price for Florida residents.

I just got one last week and it was good for exactly 366 days. Not 13 months. We bought it at City Hall in the MK because they couldn't sell it to us at Guest Services at the MK right outside the gate.

I did not realize a Florida resident could purchase TIW without an AP or DVC member.

I've had that happen a few years ago. (Although we didn't have a 13th month trip to worry about)

It's better than this year's end of the 2nd month TIW.

You might want to check at another guest relations. Outside of International Gateway was able to issue me a correct 13 month pass.
