AP Discounts

Hi everyone. Excuse if this is a dumb question. I was just wondering how far in advance do the AP discounts come out for the resorts? Thank you.

as far as I can tell not very far! Just a couple of months beforehand I think.

usually a few months before. The ones for Xmas time came out around October and they weren't even that good. They just rereleased a passholders discount that seems better than the first.

I got 45% off at the boardwalk I thought that was pretty good

Yes, that is good but there didn't seem to be that many rooms available at this discount. They just rereleased the discount because I got a new email last week talking about a passholders discount from after Thansgiving to 12/25/10. I guess there were more room available? I know that two weeks ago I checked on a room for 3 nights at Pop and it was $139/night and that's with the passholders discount. When I checked again after I got the new passholders email it was $87/night.

Deluxe rooms are always a good deal at 30-45% off but things waver when you go down to the value and moderates.

I got mine back in October, and I think there were only a few in his category, same for the discounts for everyone not much availablity either. Its all just a ploy to make you move up the categories and spend more money!

Thank you ladies for the info. I was interested bc I'm thinking of possibly upgrading to an MK view room at the contemporary and was trying to figure out if it's worth the money possibly with the AP discounts.
