AP discount??

New on the boards and want to know what AP passes include and are they worth buying, just for the discounts??

An AP will include unlimited admission to all 4 major theme parks for a full year. You will get discounts at some restaurants for lunch & some for dinner (about 10%). You can get discounts on mini golf & boat rentals & also discounted admission to the water parks & Disney Quest.

With a Premium AP (PAP) you'll get all of the above, but you'll also get unlimited admission to the water parks, Disney Quest & Pleasure Island.

There are usually room discounts with AP's, but that's not guaranteed. Whether or not you should buy one just for the discounts is a good question. I guess it depends on how much the discount is, how long you're going for & if you're going to return again within the year to utilize the AP.

If I were you, I would book the trip & then wait until the AP discounts come out. At this point, if it's worth it you can always buy the AP voucher then. JMO!

Does everyone in your party have to have an AP pass to get the discounts or can you just buy one and reap all the benefits???

One AP is all you need for I think up to 3 room ressies.

Other than the rooms, there are restrictions on the discounts. They're only valid for a certain number of people, or only for the passholder. (ie dining and merchandise discounts)

But you can book up to 3 different rooms with 1 annual pass.
