Hi everyone,

Not sure if this belongs here...

TIW card went up from $60 to $75 for passholders according to certain areas of the website (other areas still say $60)

Anyway, since the discount takes off 20% and charges 18% gratuity (not sure if I would want to pay an 18% gratuity at a buffet where I serve myself) plus a now $75 charge, not sure it is worth it.

On the Disney website on the same page as the TIW info it lists what looks like passholder discounts that are given without the card. is this correct? Can't really tell from the website.

Thanks!

Wasn't sure if I was reading that right, since it is listed immediately following the TIW plan.

Not sure which way to go. I plan on doing the DP but would like to use a discount for lunches paid oop. We'll be going to Disney 3 times this year and hopefully (if DH doesn't divorce me first ;) )once next year before our passes expire. So the TIW card may be worth it. I just can't figure out if it really went up to $75. It says 75 in one place and 60 in another. The downloadable app says $75. They've got to be kidding! Not feeling the magic there!

You have to use the TIW at a $60 price for $300 of food to break even. At $75 it would be $375.
If you use the DDP, chances are you probably wouldn't use it that much but if you choose to use TIW instead of DDP it can definitely be worth it.

Hope your trips are great!

I have been to the Disney passholder site and it still says sixty for first card and twenty five for second card.......maybe (I hope that is the case) that is what the people are talking about??????????

I will keep looking.....

Okey I looked and the second card is 50 dollars and if you are a fLorida resident it is 100 for first card.......I dont think this will go over well with the masses.....cause I sure wont renew mine...

Thanks for pointing this out
