AP Discount Question

This one is probably pretty simple...

DW and I are planning on taking our next trip next Sept. followed by an August trip in 07. The question is can we buy our APs now using the discount and just not activate until we get to WDW next year?

I'm pretty sure we can but want confirmation. You folks are usually better than calling Disney directly.

The time on the AP's don't start ticking until you redeem the vouchers. And once you do they expire one year from redemption.
Staggering you trips by a week or 2 is what we do to get 2 or more trips off one AP. Makes good use of our "For Disney" money.
