AP discount now?

I at dl now just got 15 percent discount at carnation cafe with premium pass she said she didn't know anything about twenty percent. I can't access the
ap page.
Anyone know?

I believe the 20% discount is on merchandise. During the holidays, all APs get 10% off, and the PAPs get 20% off merchandise. Normally it's no discount for Deluxe down and 10% for Premium.

The food discount has been 10% for deluxe on down, and 15% for premium.

Just confirming this! The 20% is only for PAP holders through Jan. 3rd on merchandise (and it's a $10.00 minimum).

Food discounts remain the same.

I'm already considering a deluxe AP because it's not a great deal more expensive than my 5 day hopper and I'm also thinking about a return trip within a year - 10% on merchandise during this visit would totally seal the deal for me

Normally PAP's get 10% off *participating* stores in DTD and the parks, but it's not everywhere. They give you a card when you get your pass about where it can be used. Other than the PAP's, no other pass level gets a merchandise discount, just food (15% for PAP, 10% for everyone else).

For the Christmas season, through Jan. 3rd, there is a special promotion that PAP's get 20%, and any other level, who normally don't get a merch. discount, will get 10% at the participating stores.

Cool - I knew about the normal 10% at "participating stores" (seems to be just about all non-disney stores) but this is the first I've read about the temporary 10% everywhere.

Guess I'll be investing on my first day (Dec 11)

Actually, all APs get various discounts at various places in DTD. Jamba Juice, Build a Bear, etc. You get a little pamphlet thingie that tells you where the discounts are. You can also check the AP informational page on disneyland.com.


But you don't usually get a merchandise discount at the Disney stores, for those under Premium level. That's where the holiday thing is making things special! And painful, to those of us who have pledged to not go until their car is paid off! Augh!
