AP discount no longer available

The AP discount offer for dates after 10/01 is no longer available per the web site. I guess you had to book by yesterday.

This seems really strange to me, as we go often for a last minute weekend and always get an AP or FL resident rate.

I thought it was really strange too. I posted this on a different thread about not giving up on AP rates. I felt bad because I went to check rates for someone today and that's when I realized the offer had expired. If it's a new trend, we'll have to be sure to book right when offers are released....

The DIS site does indicate "This discount must be booked by 9/4/11."

However, the MouseForLess site gives additional details "An Early Booking Savings will be the best discount that Passholders will receive for this travel period if booked by September 4, 2011. Discounts will not be as great for this travel period if you wait to book after September 4, 2011 (9/5 - 12/24/11). Ask for code W4K for discounts of up to 40% off, depending on when and where you stay AND how soon you book. "

Of course, my optimistic side prefers the info on the MFL site but I do concede that I've not heard about an early booking saving prior to reading this... I called earlier today (before I read this post) and still no dice for my dates/resort/room type but the CM didn't say anything about the offer expiring.

I didn't try calling, just tried to look online and it told me to choose another offer. I wonder what they're up to now!

Hi,

I did not notice the expiry date but last night I booked the AKL ( pool view for 3 nights -8th to 11th October) ( I had previously booked the WL for 5 nights- 3rd to 8th) and when I logged in today to see if anything else was available I noticed the offer had expired message)

Whew! booked just in time!

Now I am so stressed out that when I call next week to add the Passholder DDP to this reservation they won't be able to!! I have done this a bunch of times in the past (every trip since they made it available lol) I know they have to cancel the Room only reservation and rebook it as a Passholder package, how are they going to do this without the code being available to book??

So glad I booked yesterday after debating for about 2 weeks! Its weird that it still shows up under offers. But after it shows...

We'll still be able to do it. You locked the discount in by booking the room only.
