Last year Annual Passholders could go online and book the daily Festival Center seminars (both wine and culinary/wine...taking place in the Festival Center itself, which is the old Wonders of Life pavillion) for a discounted price ahead of time. Does anyone know if Disney is/will be doing that again this year? I haven't seen a thing about this, even when I did a search. How about it? Any budget minded foodies or winers out there who are in the know about this?

According to what has been "let out" by Disney. There will be an AP Discount for weekday seminars only. Guess that $2 was just hurting Diseny too much.

My "moneysaving" tip. Quit going. Last year I was SHOCKED at how rude the attendees at these seminars were treated. I went to 2 wine seminars and saw the same "rude" treatment twice. I quit going and won't pay anymore. I can be treated rudely without paying for it.

I was under the impression TIW discount had been confirmed but the others (AP and DVC) are not confirmed. And yes, the discounts will be available this year for seminars on Mondays through Thursdays only.

Thank you both for your answers! So is there a sign up list yet (of the seminars)? Also, I know what AP and DVC are...but TIW...I can't think what that stands for...?

Lol I won't be attending very many seminars. I have gone to many in years gone by, though (when they were free), and if some of "my" chefs or winemakers are around on a weekday or three I'd still like to see them.

TIW - Tables in Wonderland (formerly Disney Dining Experience).

The list isn't out yet but it should be soon. The opening booking date is August 16.

Once again, thank you so much TDC Nala!

Since you have that special name I have to tell you that my 22 year old daughter takes her little stuffed Nala with her to college. Lol and her identical twin takes her little stuffed Simba with her too. They received them for Christmas almost 20 years ago...and I don't believe they've ever spent the night apart! I'll have to ask them now that thought has occurred to me lol.

Also, nondiscounted seminars will be able to be booked either online or via phone. At the preview event, we were told that (TIW) discounted seminars will have to be booked via phone to get the discount.

I thought I read on the Disney Food Blog that DVC and AP got a discount, but can't find it now so maybe I made that up :)
