OK so this doesn't affect me at all having been married to the same lovely bride for the past 15+ yrs, and not planning to change that any time, ever.
But, what about a situation in the case of a minor child/ step-child who does not live with the DVC members but joins them on vacation? Would this child be eligible for the DVC discount? And going one step beyond that, supposing this child then gets another visit with his/her other family; would that family be able to take advantage of this child's AP room discounts?
I don't know why this popped into my head, but now I am wondering. I suppose Disney would have no way of knowing where a minor child resides, since they would likely not have and not be required to show picture ID.
Anyone with thoughts or theories on this tangent?
