AP Discount during June

What kind of AP discount can I expect for dates in June?

We got YC for $269 per night for our trip this past June 6-12. That was $90 off rack rate.

Wow!! Thank you. I am trying to determine if it's worth it for me to get an AP for our trip next year.

I wouldn't count on AP rates in June. One year they were offered, the following year they weren't. Then last year, they were offered only at specific resorts. Naturally, the year they offered none for June (or midJune), was the first year I was going down in that timeframe and staying at the Poly! Only discount I got for the Poly this past June was AAA.

THe discounts for June the past two years have been slim. None for the value resorts, very little for the moderate resorts, next to none for the MK resorts. Discounts for the EPCOT resorts were more available than other resorts. Some discounts at OKW and SSR. I wouldn't count on any and hope you see some that you can use. Being flexible about your resort choice would be the best advice I could give.

Thanks for all of the input. Doesn't sound like the AP will be the best choice for me. Unfortunately, we have to go during the summer, but I thought I could at least ask folks on the boards and get some input.

I didn't buy my AP until 3 weeks before our June 6 trip. I had originally made my reservation at YC with a AAA rate and watched these boards everyday hoping for AP discounts. When they did come out I called that morning and BC was available so I changed and ordered my AP right from the CM at CRO. I then kept checking for YC and was able to switch back 6 days before our trip. I would not buy the AP until I knew it was going to save us money, which it did.
